Bill is preceded in death by his first wife, Nona Fredenburg; his daughter, Sandra Boothe; brother, Richard Fredenburg; and very close friend, Barbara Sheehan. She was a member of the Ontario County Republican Club and the Red Hat Society. Secor; parents, Raymond and Frances Oberdorf; and three siblings, Raymond “Cork” Oberdorf, Jr., Jack Young and Dawn Boyer.
He was raised on Baker Valley Road in Belmont, NY, and graduated from Belmont Central School.
Charles later served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and he was a member of the New York State American Legion.

Charles is survived by his wife, Barbara Jeanne Bliven; four children, Brenda (Rob) Porter, Tracy (Drew) Brooks, Charles Bliven, Jr., and Kenneth (Ellen) Bliven; eight grandchildren, Hannah (Elijah) Denecke, Mattie (Jonathan) Spenst, and Priscilla Porter; Eleanor, Zachary, and Victoria Brooks; and Jack and Charlotte Bliven; three step-children, Delnore (Michael) Case, Dawn (Roy) Palmer, and Darryl (Lauri) Cline; six step-grandchildren, Jill (Darrell) Whitbeck, Eric (Jessica) Case, Cara (Andrew) Freeman, Adam Hebblethwaite, Keith Cline and Kevin Cline, and Arieanna Palmer; five step-great-grandchildren, Emily and Wyatt Whitbeck, Colton Freeman, Aaden Freeman, and Lexi Case.

Bill loved fishing and golfing, riding his lawnmower, traveling with family and friends, or joking around with just about anyone.Janell attended and volunteered at the Gorham Pageant of Bands and supported music education for children. She is survived by her eight children, Cecile (Bob) Cody, Lou Ann Wyer, Elaine Hilton, Steve (Gloria) Dancause, Michele Fogarty, Gary (Sue) Dancause, Denise Canfield, and Tess Dancause; 14 grandchildren, Chad (Penny) Curtis, Brett Curtis, Joel Wyer, Jessica (Rustico) Udan, Aaron (Lisa) Hilton, Aimee Brown, Adam Hilton, David Dancause, Kristin Fogarty, Katie Fogarty, Shelbe (Isaac) Kamholtz, Tyler Dancause, Nathan Canfield, Jennifer Hamilton; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Over the years, Janell was a volunteer with Ontario Yates Hospice and transported cancer patients to receive medical care. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years (Robert) and one brother (Loring Breckenridge). He loved sports, and was a total Denver Broncos fan. He loved his Mom and Dad, and missed his brother, Evan.
